Teal is a young Priestess of Astera, from a family who has guarded the land of Hampstead Heath in London. She is 12/13 years of age, Caucasian-Asian-African, her hair in multiple braids, dressed in hand-woven clothes, which are the colors of the forest. She nurses Lila when she almost dies from the plague and gives her insight and guidance into her destiny and lineage.
