This is the desolate forest, Parc de Forêt,  that Lila Sophia and Rhea enter before they come to the luminous grounds of the Château Lumiere. 

“The rusted metal gate opens as Lila and Rhea walk through. Inside are scattered grey leaves, untrimmed trees, and boisterous greenery that devours discarded marble cherubs and a disheveled Medusa with wild dandelions growing out of her gaping mouth. Rats and strange creatures scatter in the shadows and leeches and ominous birds skulk the trees. This forest is a junk yard for old things and forgotten spirits.”
