This is mysterious Ancient Forest Temple that we see in the beginning of the graphic novel. In the film, we are taken to this outdoor temple in the opening credits as the prologue, voiced by Ancient Woman explains he origins of the Priestesses of Astera. It is a hard to place this temple, or the women in time. Also when the women enter the Main Rotunda at the Château Lumière,it appears in moments to transform to this Forest Temple and indeed it is a timeless place of gathering. Inside and outside of time.  

“The PRIESTESSES OF ASTERA, sumptuously dressed women of all races and ages, dressed in flowing robes of white with detailed gold embroidery in motifs of nature, sacred geometry a mysterious script of unknown origins walk through the gardens and courtyards of an ancient forest temple to gather in circle as luminous holograms shimmer in the air. Is this the past or the future? It is hard to tell. This is a time out of time.”
